Locust bean flour is made from the pods of evergreen wood, which is widespread in the Mediterranean region.
Cocoa has a lot of magnesium, while locust bean has a lot of calcium. It contains about three times more calcium than cocoa, and only 60% of its calories. Carob also contains vitamin B1 such as strawberries, more vitamin A than asparagus, vitamin B2, calcium, magnesium, potassium and trace elements iron, copper, nickel, manganese and chromium.
Locust is also known to help with nausea, vomiting and upset stomach.
